MEET THE PUPS WHO CALL THE DEN THEIR HOME

Dixie Bell
Dixie Bell came to us in July of 2024 when her family had housing issues. At the time she had bad arthritis and chronic UTIs but was otherwise a healthy 12ish year old. Dixie is currently battling lymphoma but through it all she remains her usual sweet and fun self.

Bailey
Bailey was surrendered to the SPCA of Brevard in September of 2024 in pretty poor condition. She was anemic, had an ear infection, quite a bit of hair loss, a severe UTI, and the vet found her to be in liver failure. At only seven years old, she was placed in the hospice category, and we knew she needed to be with us, so we brought her into the den. Since joining the pack, her liver values have improved and she has become a mascot, of sorts, for both the SPCA of Brevard (she was named their Purr-rom Queen for 2025) as well as the Den - proving what amazing things can happen when animal rescues work together.

Trixie (Monkey)
Trixie is our newest resident, coming to us in April of 2025. She was surrendered to us because her family found out she was diabetic and could not afford the insulin to treat her. Unfortunately, the diabetes went untreated for too long and Trixie developed diabetic cataracts so her vision is now impaired. Still, she is a very active, happy, and loving 13-year old who spends her days hanging out with her “big” sisters and looking forward to meal times.
